6 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup margarine (1/2 pound)
4 tablespoons baking powder
2 tablespoons anise or lemon
3 1/2 cups flour (approx.)

Beat eggs well.  Add sugar gradually and beat until smooth. Add cooled but melted margarine, lemon (or anise).  Stir in flower and baking powder to egg mixture.  Dough will be sticky enough to be dropped by spoon into a pizzelle iron.
