Hot Fudge Sundae Cake
In an ungreased 9 inch square pan mix together:
1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Stir in the following until smooth:
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon vanilla
Spread batter evenly in pan. Sprinkle with 1 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa. Pour 1 1/2 cup hot tap water over batter. Do not mix water into batter. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 40 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand for 15 minutes. Spoon into dessert plates. Top with vanilla ice cream and spoon the hot fudge sauce on top.
