Fluffy White Frosting - Two recipes
Compliments of Judy Spitale:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup soft margarine
1/2 cup crisco
5 heaping tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup milk
Combine slowly and then beat at highest speed for approx. 5 mins.
Makes generous amount
Fluffy White Frosting
1 cup Crisco or 1/2 cup crisco and 1 stick butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 tablespoons flour
3/4 cup very warm milk
Beat crisco. Beat in sugar well. Add flour one tablespoon at a time. Slowly add very warm milk and beaton high until dissolved- about 10 minutes. Add vanilla. Stores well at room temp. Do not refrigerate and try to rebeat.
