1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs separated
1 cup milk

In bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.  Combine egg yolks, milk and butter.  Stir in dry ingredients just until moistened.

In small bowl beat egg whites on medium speed until it forms peaks.  Gently fold in batter.  Put in iron until golden brown.

Top with confectioners sugar and fruit if desired.
